SCHLOSS EUTIN (CASTLE EUTIN)

The castle of Eutin is one of the most beautiful in Holstein. It has an elegant red-brick baroque architecture and a remarkable romantic park. Although it was founded in the 12th century, it was remodeled by the bishops of Eutin at the end of the 17th century, according to plans inspired by the Swedish castles of the time. One can walk freely in the park, visit its richly furnished interiors, or discover the temporary exhibitions of fine arts that it offers.
