The Operettenhaus is one of Sankt-Pauli's entertainment classics. Founded in 1841, its stages have made history in theater, operetta and musicals. Today, with 1,389 seats, it offers popular musicals inspired by the Broadway repertoire. After Cats, Mamma Mia! das Tina Turner Musical, Sister Acts, Kinky Boots, the Stage Operettenhaus presents from September 2022 Hamilton, a musical about the rise and fall of Alexander Hamilton, a founding father of the American nation.
