HAUS AM HORN

Built in 1923 as a show house for the Bauhaus exhibition, this is the only building in Weimar to be constructed according to the movement's principles. It was here, in front of and inside this experimental house, that teachers and students discussed the broad outlines of the Bauhaus genius, a precursor of the modern movement. Once you've passed through the garden, you can explore this geometrically shaped villa, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996, along with the entire Bauhaus oeuvre in Weimar, Dessau and Bernau.
