A cultural site to be opened in 2023, within the Lieutenance, to explore the history of Honfleur from the century to the present day.
La Lieutenance, an emblematic structure classified as a historic monument, has been open to the public since 2023. Following a superb restoration, the Centre d'interprétation de l'architecture et du patrimoine (CIAP) immerses visitors in the history of the port through an immersive and entertaining tour. Projections, tactile models, historical reconstructions, sound extracts of writers talking about Honfleur... It's all very successful. And the highlight of the visit? A breathtaking view of the Vieux Bassin. Tip: for an extra €1, access to the Musée de la Marine.
