LE CHEVAL BLANC (BEST WESTERN) * * *
Hotel offering rooms with a balcony and a romantic attic studio on the top floor
This several hundred-year-old establishment (it dates back to the 15th century) with its superb facade proudly overlooks the old port. The hotel has received many distinguished guests such as Victor Hugo, Claude Monet, and Emperor Joseph II. The same care is given to the decoration of the rooms with a good point also for the bathrooms. If you really want to indulge yourself, opt for the suites (both equipped with a whirlpool bath and a hydromassage shower): "Alphonse Allais", with its 18th-century style and balcony, or "Erick Satie", a duplex with a purple and gold background. The attic "Studio" on the top floor will satisfy the soul of the most romantic. We recommend the views of the port and above all an early wake-up call which, in fine weather, will plunge you directly into the atmosphere of this small fishing port which, despite the passage of time, knows how to keep its soul, as long as you know how to appreciate the wandering smells of the tide and the sea breeze, the cry of the seagulls, and the noise of the engine of the last trawlers.

Petit point négatif : nous avons été dérangés dans la salle de bain, et gros souci de VMC avec un bruit très fort et continu toute la nuit, même portes fermées.
