The Ephraim Historical Foundation brings together a number of cultural institutions that celebrate the city's heritage and have the mission of transmitting its history: the Anderson Barn History Museum, which houses a small museum; the Goodletson Cabin Museum, built in 1855 by a Norwegian immigrant; Iverson House, built in 1854; the Pioneer Schoolhouse Museum, a school built in 1857; and the Svalhus Research Library, which dates from 1890 and houses the archives.
