A small limestone cliff top park with limestone beaches just above the surface of Lake Michigan.
One of the most spectacular spots on the peninsula, famous for its rock formations sculpted by Lake Michigan. From the parking lot, a short path leads to a limestone cliff that towers a few meters above the water. When it's windy, the waves rush into the rock cavities and gush out in impressive sprays. If you follow the shoreline northwards, you'll discover thin limestone beaches, sometimes submerged according to the fluctuating levels of the Great Lakes. A raw, untamed site, where the power of nature can be observed at close quarters.
