Motorists, be careful to negotiate your arrival and departure! The winery is located on the four-lane road to Ouistreham between the Centre Commercial Saint-Clair and Colombelles exits. But once your skid has been controlled and your car parked in front of the store, you can take your time to choose among the beautiful selections of wines and spirits that Franck offers in his store. We were won over by the choice and the range of prices - there really is something for everyone - as well as by the advice, sure, precise, and without unnecessary jargon. The Côtes du Rhône AOP Domaine de Givaudan (a handful of euros), the Viré-Clessé (a little more expensive), and the Ron Diplomatico (reasonable for a "Reserva") that he recommended on the day of our visit all three fulfill their promises. By the way, we received a mini-course on rum - sorry, rums - and thank you because now we learn to appreciate them and to recognize their aromas. But the man could talk to you as much about his whiskies, calvados and beers... In short, a passionate man who is also a pro!
