Museum with the largest collection of history of the Niagara Peninsula.

Founded in 1895 to encourage the study of Canadian history and to foster the collection and preservation of records and relics, it now houses the largest collection of Niagara Peninsula history. The collection of military costumes and weapons of the period is impressive. The museum also offers historical walking tours of Niagara-on-the-Lake on weekends from June to September.
