KAWARTHA SETTLERS' VILLAGE
Discovery site with about twenty historic houses and buildings with many artifacts dating from 1830 to 1935.
A former family farm has been converted into a discovery site on which some twenty houses and historic buildings stand enthroned. Here you will wander through a typical village, one of those inhabited by the first settlers of the region. Several artifacts dating from the years 1830 to 1935 have also been recovered in a spirit of conservation and to educate the public about ancestral methods, whether for farming or home maintenance. A very interesting site!
