Museum with a bookstore offering a tour with a video on the subject of forestry in the Algonquin region.
The Forestry Museum reveals the history of this industry, from the rendering of logs of yesteryear to the practices of modern times. The tour begins with a video on the subject, which traces 175 years of forestry in the Algonquin region (you can also watch the video on the website, it's very informative). Then set off on the 1.5-kilometre interpretive trail (trail and outdoor exhibits accessible year-round). There is also an on-site bookstore run by the Friends of Algonquin Park.
