With its English colonial character, this small hotel plunges us into another era. All rooms are very elegant and well equipped. For families, a large room with a separate entrance can accommodate up to 4 people. In addition, some rooms have a private balcony or offer an exceptional view of the Château Frontenac, the St. Lawrence River or the small private garden at the back. Not to mention the unparalleled hospitality of your hosts who will share with you all their good tips.

A bit noisy between floors and our door code didn't work at first. Was sorted out with a phone call quickly but was inconvenient. The location is perfect for sightseeing. Has a kitchen that is great.

Seems we have the same issue as everybody else, unfortunately... I should have read the reviews. Arrived to our two hotel rooms, only to find out that there was somebody already in one of the rooms they had given me. There's no staff on site to talk to, and being from the US my texting wasn't working, so I had to add them into WhatsApp and also try to send them an email to see if I could get a hold of anybody. The guys who were in the room that was supposed to be ours were French and thankfully were able to call them, and tell them that our room was double booked.
Hotel gave us another room and had to get all the information through the French guys helping us (they were so kind), got to the two new rooms and then the code for one of them wasn't working. Managed to get a hold of somebody in reception using the phone in the room and get a new code quickly, still frustrating.
Fast forward to the next night, at around 11:00 p.m. somebody is trying to use a code and get into our room. My husband opens the door to find a very confused couple who had booked the room that we were moved to, so the hotel had done the same thing to them. My husband told them how they could get a hold of them, and wished them luck.

Needless to stay, the experience could have been better. Honestly, the rooms were fine, the shared kitchen was fine, bathrooms were fine, and it was walking distance to everything we wanted to see, so all of that was excellent. I just really wish they would invest in some staff at least for normal business hours.

Lovely, beautiful, Historic Hotel. However I have some serious contingencies. After we arrived at the hotel, made out way to our room, we discovered the provided code to enter the room did not work. We had driven over 900 kilometers just to find out that we can't even get into the room. Confused, we made our way
down a floor and spoke to a couple. This couple also could not get into their rooms. Evidently this issue was effecting multiple rooms. While my friend was on the phone with the useless "Virtual Reception" I went outside and spoke with somebody who said they use a backup code to get into their room. After I made my way up to the hotel room I overheard the lady over the phone offer us a backup code. It was the SAME code the guy had outside. So I interrupted the woman on the phone and explained the backup code she gave us was the same this random guy had on another floor. We were then given a new code after some argument. This code opened the door, but then the door wouldn't lock? How freaky is that? What hotel room doesn't lock? The lady on the phone for the virtual reception was not helpful, the was stubborn and impatient.
