The Clarendon is the oldest hotel still in operation in the capital. The building, built from the plans of Charles Baillairgé, dates from 1870 and is full of history and romance. It is part of the city's socio-cultural heritage. Very well located, inside the fortifications of Old Quebec, this 4-star hotel is renowned for its excellent service and high quality facilities. Services offered on site: valet parking (30 CAN $ per night), concierge service, restaurant-brasserie Les Mordus, etc.

I want to express my deep gratitude to the hotel for their excellent service as well as for accommodating a dispute I had with an online reservations service provider who had refused to reimburse me after realizing 5 minutes later I noticed data entry error on dates of reservation.

I called the hotel to inform them of the error and they graciously called me back to let me know they would reconcile my dispute on the dates and provide me a room at no extra charge. I did not lose my money and they were extremely gracious and welcoming. They receive you in both official languages and all communications are handled with such grace.

I was shocked when the incident occurred and the hotel really made my day a lot better. I will always be grateful for their understanding and for their excellent hosting ability.

STAY NOWHERE ELSE in Quebec City. Stylish, comfortable, friendly, and in the best location for seeing Old Quebec. Steps away from everything you will want to see. First class service, appear at the front door and they will whisk your luggage up to your room and put your car safely away for you. One block away to the best restaurants in town. Stay here and feel like a King or Queen, or both.
