Located on a quiet street in Old Quebec, the house dates back to 1850 and can accommodate up to 60 people in its 13 rooms on three floors. There is a baba-cool spirit, as is still found in some of the province's inns. For shopping, the small grocery store next door offers everything. On-site services: fully equipped kitchen, common room, beautiful interior courtyard, wifi and internet station, lockers in the rooms (bring your padlock). Paid parking at the Town Hall (evening and weekend discounts).

Great place to stay and meet and talk to fellow travellers
Just be aware it is a hostel style place with shared toilets and showers, which is the only reason I can't give 5 star.
I would be happy to stay again
- very friendly staff
- unbeatable location
Con:
- the vibes are just weird here
- super anti social
- no events
- tiny rooms with rock hard beds
- always a weird smell wafting through the place
Pros:
• Excellent location with numerous shops and restaurants within walking distance.
• Convenient proximity to the train station and major sightseeing spots.
• A fantastic dining experience at Chez Temporel next door, with a 10% discount for hotel guests.
• Friendly and helpful reception staff.
Cons:
• The room itself is okay but lacks an extra chair and storage space.
• Horrible sound insulation – noise from outside and neighboring rooms was very clear and disruptive, making it very hard to sleep, especially late at night. I wish they could post reminder to guests to keep noise levels down after 11pm or so.
• Shared shower room was acceptable, but inadequate storage made it less convenient.
• There was no elevator as the building was old, unsuitable for individuals who may struggle with climbing steep staircases while carrying large luggage.
Overall, for future visits to Quebec City, I would rather pay a bit more for a quieter and more comfortable stay at somewhere else.
