A perfect address to live the experience of unusual accommodation. Its famous Oka cheese, on sale on site, is a must!

The Cistercian abbey of Oka, founded by French monks at the end of XIXe siècle, nestles in the woods on the heights of Lake of Two Mountains. It has become a real tourist centre and now serves as an inn with about ten rooms that once housed the Cistercian Fathers. On site, you have access to a bistro offering dishes based on local flavours as well as a shop selling the famous Oka cheese (absolutely taste the poutine made with this cheese), local products and artisans, ice cream products, etc.

Merci Noémie pour cette belle et agréable visite des lieux de l’auberge de l’Abbaye d’Oka. Tu nous a donné le goût d’y revenir pour une visite guidée de groupe, avec dégustation. On a beaucoup apprécié ta façon de t’exprimer et de partager tes connaissances.
