At the entrance to Fleury-sur-Orne on the outskirts of Caen, this address smacks of the France of yesteryear, cheerful and canaille, where the pleasures of the table are all brought together for a good time with friends. With a table for lunch and a cellar all day, the house relies on good traditional cuisine, with an emphasis on meat dishes (Lulu la Nantaise's piece of beef or Le Mexicain's Caen-style tripe). As for the cellar, there's no shortage of choice, with as many options for wines as for spirits (whiskies, gins, rums, cognacs...).

Franchement très déçue du repas dit de Noël...des nuggets de thon secs au ketchup avec des nouilles chinoises qui le sont tout autant, 28 euros le menu c'est vraiment abusé....je ne reviendrai plus...

La Cave Des Tontons est un établissement de qualité. Côté cave, les précieux conseils du personnel nous permettent de trouver notre bonheur parmi le large choix de vins et spiritueux. Côté restaurant, les produits locaux sont bien travaillés pour un rapport qualité / prix intéressant. Je recommande !
