Museum of living memory in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli with trails adapted for walking with access to the river.
Located on a green site, formerly the seigniorial domain of Philippe Aubert de Gaspé, this museum is a reference in intangible heritage and in the transmission of oral traditions in Quebec. In the form of life stories or testimonials, the exhibits focus on the history, know-how, customs and other elements of Quebec culture. The house that houses the museum is worth the trip, as are the paths for walking and the access to the river.

Beau point de vue!
L'extérieur et les jardins sont magnifiques. Il y a un ancien fourneau et un caveau à légumes qui sont d'origine mais le reste est récent.
À l'intérieur il n'y a aucun meuble mais des expositions dans plusieurs salles qui relatent l'histoire des cartes de souhaits, des boîtes à chansons, etc.
avec des photos des documents originaux et des courts messages audiovisuels.
Le monsieur à l'accueil nous a bien expliqué avant de nous faire payer.
Jai trouvé cela intéressant.
Le musée est payant (14$ pour 65 ans et plus) mais le jardin est gratuit et il y a des tables à pique-nique.
Le site se trouve juste en face de la tour de l'innovation.
