Located on the Bell River, Senneterre is a paradise for hunters and fishermen, with numerous outfitters, including the very select St-Cyr Royal. For an authentic experience, this is the place to go! On sunny days, a 4.2 km bike path takes cyclists up to Mount Bell (411 metres), while the river is perfect for water sports (kayaks can be rented on site). In winter, the town is one of the main gateways to the region for snowmobilers. Senneterre is served by VIA Rail trains from Montreal, via the Mauricie region.
