DR. EVERETT CHALMERS REGIONAL HOSPITAL
The Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital is a Canadian hospital located in Fredericton, New Brunswick. This regional hospital is recognized as a center of expertise in reconstructive and restorative medicine, as well as a leading plastic surgery center. The 315-bed hospital was built in 1976. The hospital is affiliated with Dalhousie University and offers training in some 20 health disciplines. It is also a certified partner of Dalhousie University's Family Medicine Program and the University of New Brunswick's Nursing Program. The hospital is also home to the Veterans' Health Unit. It offers a range of services, including surgery, intensive care, women's and children's care, neurosciences and stroke, mental health and addiction, as well as emergency services. A $250 million project is underway to provide a state-of-the-art environment for maternal and neonatal care, surgical care, outpatient procedures, blood draws and medical records. The hospital has parking facilities and Wi-Fi access for visitors.
