Perched at 3,954 meters, Mount Robson draws many visitors to the park. Covering approximately 225,000 hectares, the park was established in 1913 to preserve the wild beauty of the canyons, forests, glaciers and mountains. The more courageous will tackle the 23 km (one way) of the famous Berg Lake Trail (a beautiful hike of 725 m elevation). Helicopter tours are available to reach the lake and hike around it. Berg Lake is located on the north face of Mount Robson at 2,400 m. Ask at the tourist information center at the base of Mount Robson to arrange your stay (camping, etc.).
