Nudist beach with walking trails, the only beach in Vancouver where clothing is optional.
Just west of UBC's campus, Wreck Beach is a nudist beach that often talks about it. It is the only Vancouver beach where the clothes are optional (which also means that it is fully accepted that you will stay dressed). Out of season, it is pleasant to walk along the beach, between the large rocks and the trunks of trees scattered across. In summer, it is very popular with families and couples without a shirt. Hiking trails go around the forest over several tens of kilometres.

Un jolie plage, un peu excentrée du centre ville. Tôt le matin est le meilleur moment pour en profiter, peu ou pas peuplée, il est alors agréable de s'y promener. Les troncs d'arbres et les gros rocher qui y reposent lui donnent un côté sauvage très appréciable.
