First garden in the style of the Ming dynasty built outside China in 1985 and 1986. It is a creation of the architects Joe Wai and Donald Vaughan. It is similar to the Suzhou Garden in China because this city has the same climate as Vancouver. The plants here live in perfect harmony with the seasons, respecting the harmony and rhythm of the flowering but also the Feng Shui!
