QUEEN ELIZABETH THEATRE

Opened in 1959, the theatre is named after Queen Elizabeth II, who attended a concert when it opened. The Vancouver Opera presents its performances in this beautiful hall, but you will also see musicals and other lighter shows such as ballets, contemporary dance, etc. The hall is quite large, with a capacity of 2,000 seats, but the seats are leaving very quickly, so it's imperative to book in advance. The acoustics of the hall are impressive, which makes the concerts spectacular!
