KOOTENAY VALLEY VIEWPOINT

Explanatory signs provide information about the history of the park and the beautiful Kootenay Valley. These are located at the lookout near the south entrance to the park (off Highway 93). The view of the valley, against the backdrop of mountain peaks, is simply spectacular. A place of exceptional contrasts, prefer an afternoon drive for a more comprehensive and clearer view of the landscape, especially on a sunny day.
