As a Canadian I was very moved by the exhibits regarding our participation in the D-day landings. It also dealt with the period leading up to when Canada joined the war as well as the fighting and battles that took place during the war. I enjoyed the way that they worked on having exhibits that kids would also learn from.
We were at the centre on the 81st anniversary of the D-day invasion and took in the ceremony of Remembrance. It is very touching to see how grateful the people are for the help that Canada sent to free them from the Nazi occupation.
I recommend to anyone that they should go here if they are visiting the D-day Beach region in Normandy.

Sortez vos mouchoirs - L'émotion est a toutes les vitrines et dans les films projetés de cet endroit si important dans la relation franco canadienne - Lieu de mémoire et lieu vivant ou les âmes de ses soldats morts pour notre liberté vous poursuivent sur la plage dans le petit parc et dans le musée - Je recommande vivement ce lieu franco canadien ou le jeune personnel canadien habillé tout de rouge vous donne envie de les embrasser tous et de leur dire MERCI
"Get your tissues ready – Emotion is everywhere, in the storefronts and in the films projected at this place so important in the Franco-Canadian relationship. A place of memory and a living space where the souls of its soldiers, who died for our freedom, follow you onto the beach, through the small park, and into the museum. I highly recommend this Franco-Canadian site, where the young Canadian staff, dressed entirely in red, make you want to embrace them all and say THANK YOU."

Really nice tour around. Staff here speak English, French and some also speak other languages. Take your time as a lot is packed into a small area. They do teacher and other discounts so ask when buying the tickets. When we went there was also a mobile cafe outside which was handy.

You can feel the history, the staff almost see it as a duty to be there and they take their role very seriously. If you go to the gift shop you can get Moosehead beer

Visite du bunker départ 11h30 et 15h30 si on vient en vélo un réduction de 4 euros par personne. Visite du musée permanent en 1h .et bunker en 45 min .. à faire les explications sont simple et claire

Très bien organisé, enfin voir un autre angle très peu connu du débarquement, ainsi qu'un historique de l'immigration et de la vie au Canada avant la seconde guerre mondiale, et de l'investissement des forces armées canadiennes dans dans les conflits récents.

Accueil très chaleureux, personnalisé, les salles sont spacieuses, bien aménagées, alternant vidéos, documents, objets divers d'époque, films émouvants, les affiches sont riches on en apprend beaucoup sur le Canada, avant, pendant et après le débarquement, nous avons passé 2 heures sans nous en rendre compte, tellement nous étions intéressés par toutes les expositions. À découvrir absolument.
