From the top of its towers, a thousand years of history contemplate you. Surrounded by a moat, the castle, which was nicknamed "the watchtower of the marshes", imposes its proud silhouette in a preserved environment. At the beginning of the visit, a "discovery tour" booklet is given to young visitors to help them understand in a playful way the particularities of the military architecture with a defensive vocation. The interior, which is open to the public, is remarkably well presented, encouraging visitors to put down their luggage at the home of the Count and Countess Charles de Maupeou d'Ableiges, the hosts of the place.

Dommage
Multiple reservation contact attempts through their website, emails to their email address, phone calls to the castle itself and even tried to get in contact through their Instagram - eventually gave up. Still have not had the courtesy of letting us know the reservation was not available. Terribly disappointing.
