LAKSHMI NARAYAN TEMPLE

Beautiful temples await visitors amidst divine scenery. The largest and most important is the Lakshmi Narayan complex which houses six stone temples dating from the ^10th century, dedicated to Vishnu and Shiva, and aligned from north to south. A small museum exhibits religious objects.

Other temples of interest are Chamunda Devi (on the road to Jhumar) and Bajreshwari Devi. The smaller Sui Mata shrine and the Harirai Mandir, dedicated to Vishnu, are also worth a visit.
