Magnificent pink building bordered by a beautiful estate serving as the maharaja's former residence until partition in 1947

The former residence of the maharaja until partition in 1947, is a beautiful pink building surrounded by a beautiful property. A suspension bridge spans a dry pond. It is possible to walk around the property and have a picnic. Today, the palace houses a well-stocked art gallery: statues, miniatures from the Patiala school, stuffed animals, medals... The strangest object is undoubtedly the doily carved in human bones. A beautiful hall of mirrors, decorated with murals, used to house the sacred book.
