GOVERNMENT MUSEUM
Well-restored museum with two galleries displaying stone statues and inscriptions on the ground floor, and a collection of weapons on the first floor
The museum has been magnificently restored and is definitely worth a visit. Stroll through the former palace of the Maharaja of Bharatpur. On the first floor, two galleries display stone statues and inscriptions. The building opposite the entrance is the former throne room. The throne is still visible here, sheltered behind glass. Upstairs, a collection of weapons and armor, miniatures, portraits of the various maharajas, valuable curios and the English drawing room. You can also climb up to the rooftops and enjoy the view.
