Well-restored museum with two galleries featuring stone statues and inscriptions on the ground floor, and a collection of weapons on the first floor
The museum has been beautifully restored and is definitely worth a visit. You stroll in the former palace of the maharaja of Bharatpur. On the first floor, two galleries display stone statues and inscriptions. The building opposite the entrance is the old throne room. The throne is still visible there, sheltered behind a glass window. On the first floor, a collection of weapons and armors, miniatures, portraits of the different maharajas, valuable trinkets and the English salon. You can also climb on the roofs and enjoy the view.
