Visit the open-air washhouse to see the work of the launderers beating out tons of linen before spreading them out on the banks

If this open-air laundry is not as impressive as the one in Mumbai, the work of its launderers beating tons of colored linen is worth the detour. They gather at the edge of the railroad bridge. Danny Boyle shot several scenes here for his famous film Slumdog Millionaire. The place will seduce among others photographers, who are many to post their picturesque photos on social networks.
