Located 135 kilometers east of Siliguri, this national park, through which the Torsha River flows, covers an area of more than 215 km2. The forest is mainly savanna covered with tall grass. This reserve is famous for being home to the largest population of rhinos in Asia after Kaziranga National Park. It is also the natural habitat of Bengal tigers, elephants, buffalos, deer... A visit by elephant is the best and safest way to observe the rhinos in their natural environment.
