Temple dedicated to Parshwanath, the Tirthankara, a great Jain master, with Sanskrit manuscripts retracing the Jain epic.
Built in 1867 by a jeweller, it is dedicated to Parshwanath, the 23rd Tirthankara, a great Jain master. The complex contains 4 different temples. The style of this cheerful bric-a-brac is a refined blend of Italian kitsch with mirrors, mosaics and Murano glass. Some miniatures and precious Sanskrit manuscripts depict the Jain epic. As in all Jain temples, it is forbidden to enter with leather or to speak. The complex is rather difficult to access, but well worth a visit if you've never been to a Jain temple before.
