There is an airport in Jaisalmer, but it is not served by any regular line. The rumor is that Jodhpur's maharaja weighs his political weight in order to prevent the development of this airport, thus forcing the toursites to pass through his city. Others ensure that it is due to tensions with neighbouring Pakistan, whose border in the middle of the Thar desert is still not officially recognised by both sides.

Ancien aéroport militaire. Ne fait que du national. Contrôles hyper stricts. Bien pratique pour retourner à Delhi par exemple pour les personnes souhaitant éviter les longues heures de train.
