CASTLE MANDAWA
Fort converted into a hotel offering elegant rooms with sober, pleasant decor, attractive bathrooms and a swimming pool at home
The Mandawa fort is a real eye-catcher. Built in the 18th century when the city was founded, the architects imagined a veritable maze of courtyards and staircases, blending Rajput and colonial styles. Although the conversion into a hotel has resulted in a loss of its ancient character, the rooms are particularly elegant. Their decor is sober and pleasant, and they boast excellent comfort, including attractive bathrooms. Good restaurant and superb swimming pool on site.
