At the Brière-des-Fontaines manor house, on the Route du Cidre, François-Xavier Huet produces Calvados Pays d'Auge AOC, Pommeau and Cidre, carrying on the family tradition begun in 1865 by his grandfather. Winner of several medals, the estate stands out for its reputation, its CSR policy and the fact that it welcomes visitors all year round for guided tours or direct sales. During the tour, all the secrets of apple processing are revealed: pressing, distillation, ageing... and tasting at the end!
