Golf courses Tanger

Located 3 kilometers west of Tangier, the course was once located in the countryside but is now surrounded by the city. It is the very first Moroccan golf course with an area of 65 hectares. Inaugurated in 1914, redesigned in 1967 by the English architects Cotton and Penninck, it still retains its Anglo-Saxon character with its undulating fairways. Rather technical, the course undulates wonderfully between pines, firs and eucalyptus. Individual lessons for adults and children upon reservation.

Within the resort opened south of Tangier by the Hilton Group, this golf course offers an 18-hole course of 6,900 meters. It was designed by architects Graham Marsh and Vijay Singh. The course is flat, but numerous bunkers and water hazards defend the greens. The view of the Atlantic is superb. But the wind, when it blows, thwarts the game with sudden gusts. The complex also has a lighted compact 9-hole course and a practice range with about 50 stations. Pierre Pasquier, a French pro, is in charge of teaching.
