Would you like to visit the city, the seaside or the countryside of Caen la Mer? Do you know the Greeters? We'll tell you all about them! A greeter is a local with a passion for his or her town or region, who wants to share his or her good places with others. Far from a guided tour, the Greeter, a volunteer, will take you to his or her HQs, his or her favorites, sometimes little-known or unusual. It's a different, more personal way of visiting, based on sharing! Visit the Tourist Office website to choose the environment that appeals most to you.

Have you just moved to the Caen area? The AVF association (Accueil des Villes Françaises) will help you, in particular through its "welcome to newcomers" service. To help you integrate into your new city, the team of volunteers regularly organizes workshops (watercolor, needlework), social evenings and outings (heritage tours) to meet other members and create new links.
