The Olympic flame will pass through Omaha Beach, Caen, and Mont-Saint-Michel. The occasion for many festivities.

After leaving Greece in April and arriving in France via the port of Marseille on May 8, the Olympic flame will embark on an extensive tour of France before reaching the capital. In Calvados, after passing through a number of emblematic sites (including Omaha Beach), the flame will reach Caen, which has been designated as a stopover town, offering the opportunity for numerous festivities and events in the heart of the city, before the flame heads for the English Channel, to reach Mont-Saint-Michel.
