Feeling peckish on the peninsula? If we had to recommend a table in this area, we'd invite you to push open the door of Chez Bertine (a contraction of Gilbert and Martine, Laura's parents). First comment: "Waouh", what a decor! Second effect: "yum", a real treat! Chef Yoann Chapron's cuisine is entirely devoted to buckwheat, with an attractive use of local produce and a short but effective menu. Rather expensive for lunch, but best reserved for a special occasion, because here we "do good, do good".

Bertine is a modern restaurant in the heart of Caen, offering buckwheat-based dishes. Here, you can opt for a lunchtime menu including starter, main course and sweet crêpe.
