Mauritian and Vietnamese restaurant in Caen offering beef samosas, egg rolls, lemongrass chicken.

An exotic little restaurant, both in the dining room and in the kitchen, nestled in the heart of Rue Caponière, where Mauritian and Vietnamese recipes share the menu for a maximum of exotic flavours. This lunchtime trip to Mauritius is more original and rare in Caen. Beef samosas, sausage rougail, a real treat and copious! Nems, Bo bun, lemongrass chicken, Tikka chicken marinated in tandoori spices are also on the menu. There’s still time to try the cardamom rice pudding or the traditional coconut pearls. We’ll be back for sure!

Je me suis présentée ce soir à ce restaurant qui était bien noté, la dame a été d’un accueil exécrable, ne sais pas parler aux clients, on ne l’imagine pas évoluer ailleurs que dans ce petit local. Une amatrice pas très futée !
Par ailleurs le Monsieur a été très professionnel et agréable, lui ira certainement loin.

Le plat "rougail saucisse" est excellent.
D'autres choix sont possibles mais je n'ai pas encore essayé.

Belle découverte à deux pas de la maison ! Très bon, à un tarif tout à fait abordable, un super accueil. Un peu surpris par le fait d'être les seuls à manger dans la salle ce jours là. Manifestement il y a surtout des commandes à emporter.
