Retro decor in a Ukrainian restaurant in Caen offering borscht, Kiev chicken, and good value for money.
A small restaurant that is worth visiting! Friendliness and good food happily blend together; it feels like home. Warm welcome, retro decoration a little outdated (but that’s also what makes it so charming), and on the blackboard menu, some dishes with Ukrainian accents, simple but delicious. For a starter, try the chouba (herring fillet with potatoes, beets, eggs and carrots) or the borscht (vegetable soup). For main courses, Kiev chicken or the famous Stroganoff beef, accompanied by potatoes and salad, are very copious. To keep your momentum, have a vatrouchka, a cottage cheese cake for dessert.
