Small 19-room hotel with heated pool on the way to Goražde, to escape Foča's oppressive climate. Good restaurant.

This small hotel with swimming pool offers an escape from Foča's pesky climate. It's located 10 km north of the town, in the village of Ustikolina/Устиколина, within the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, along the road to Goražde. Rooms are fairly basic (with bathroom and wifi, but no air-conditioning). We appreciate the large swimming pool, which is heated for part of the year. And the restaurant is very nice: room with fireplace, terrace with playground, grilled or bell-cooked meats, salads, farmed trout..

Le cadre est effectivement charmant, mais manquant sans doute de place, l'hôtel s'est agrandi en petits cabanons de bois repartis dans le jardin. Il s'agit donc plus d'un camping que d'un hotel... mais au prix d'un hôtel (45 euros pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants de moins de 10 ans). La structure en bois est très légère et nous avons eu la désagréable sensation de partager notre soirée et nuit avec nos voisins du dessus, pourtant discrets.
Le restaurant est correct, sans plus.
