Museum offering a tour of Stalin's personal affairs and biography through a series of photos.
It's a miniature version of the Gori Museum. This museum is located in the house where Stalin lived when he mobilized the workers of Batoumi to go on strike in 1902. The museum, with no more critical approach than its big brother in Gori, displays his personal belongings and tells his biography through a series of photos. The visit will complement the one in Gori or offer you to discover in a reduced version a part of Stalin's life. In addition, the house where the museum is located is in itself a beautiful visit.

J’aurais bien aimé profiter de cette visite, mais ce n’était pas possible parce que c’était presque tout en Russe/Géorgien et il n’y avait pas d’audio guides ni de brochures. Pour un tel personnage (et un tel prix), c’est une absence étonnante.

Musée au centre de la ville, à proximité de la maison natale de Staline. Le musée est très vieillot et expose des documents peu intéressants. La visite guidée est obligatoire, mais la guide récite son texte, sans grand intérêt pour ses visiteurs. La vie de Staline est racontée sans véritable regard critique sur le personnage... La visite du wagon de Staline est en surplus
