The vineyard extends just outside the village of Tsinandali. It has an interesting small museum exhibiting objects, some dating back to antiquity, related to wine-growing. The guided tour continues with an explanation of each step of the winemaking process. You will discover the traditional methods, the hollowed out tree trunk where the grapes are crushed, the fermentation in the famous kvevri, "organic" wine. It's fascinating. The visit ends with a tasting of the estate's wines in the garden. A warm welcome.
