LESSELIDZE STREET

Starting from Liberty Square, this street leads to Meidan Square. If it is known as Kote Abkhazi, it is also known as Lesélidzé Street. (Leselidze is a Georgian hero of the Second World War). This street is one of the main arteries of the old city. Recently renovated, it is lined with travel agencies, car rentals, souvenir shops, hotels, restaurants, jewelry shops. Close to the Church of Zion, the street is also an important centre for Orthodox clergy.
