Taxis do not accept credit cards, so change a small amount before leaving (the exchange offices at the airport generally offer a rate that is always less interesting than in the city centre). If you arrive at the airport around 6pm, you will probably be caught in traffic jams, it is rush hour in Tbilisi, so the journey time will be much longer.
