Irkutsk Drama Theatre is one of the oldest in Russia. The building was built from 1894 to 1897 according to the project of the St. Petersburg architect V.A. Chreter, thanks to the funds of the Irkut merchants. The programme alternates between classical proposals and modern theatre in various registers. Some musical shows and special posters for children. Please note that there are no performances in the summer (the season begins in September and ends in May).
