Circus in Irkutsk is almost a sacred art, since the city has had one since the end of the 18th century. Today's building, inspired by the one in Moscow, was completed in 1964. It is also the largest in Siberia. The shows are regularly renewed and the performances are very popular (despite the prices, small categories around 500 RUB).
