PEGASUS BRIDGE SWOLLEN COFFEE
Café-musée in Bénouville, a place of pilgrimage for veterans and history buffs organising an event linked to D-Day.
Close to the Bénouville bridge, this café-museum is a must-see for D-Day events. A place of pilgrimage for veterans and history buffs alike, this was the first house liberated in France by the British 6th Airborne Division on the night of June 5-6, 1944. More than a café, Arlette Gondrée's establishment, present on D-Day, is a symbol of freedom. Across the street, you'll see a Bofors gun that equipped British artillery regiments.

daughters, a must visit for anyone. One of my party has an uncanny resemblance to Churchill and dressed up for the occasion.
Prix raisonnable
