Paintings from the Panorama of the Battle of Solferino, painted by Colonel Langlois who became a famous painter, are exhibited here. Born in Beaumont in 1789, Langlois has pursued a military career and participated in the Battle of Waterloo, while creating time for his passion: painting. The museum keeps his books, sketches and paintings as well as those of other artists such as Puvis de Chavannes and Edouard Krug.
